November Pack Meeting and Holiday in the Park

Posted on Nov 13 2016 - 3:02pm

Please note our pack meeting Nov. 17 will be held at First Lutheran Church, 1001 S. Glenoaks Blvd., 91502. Our usual meeting place, Fellowship Hall in Magnolia Park United Methodist Church, is not available because church members will be preparing their boutique for Holiday in the Park on Nov. 18. During Holiday in the Park, our pack will have a table outside the church where we will offer free cookies, hot chocolate, and mistletoe and encourage people to visit the boutique. Each den except the Lions will have a shift at the table: Webelos 5:00-5:45, Wolves 5:45-6:30, Tigers 6:30-7:15, Bears 7:15-8:00, and AOLs 8:00-9:00. Thanks!

Scouting for Food - Bags In (Bag Pick-up)

Posted on Nov 8 2016 - 8:55am

All hands on deck needed for Nov 12th at 9 a.m. Meeting at Stevenson Elem again, then break up into block assignments.  If you have wagons, please bring them.  The boys have fun picking up the bags of food and the wagons just add to the fun and make transport to the vehicles easier.  Remember, a scout is Helpful and this is our boys doing service in the community.  Thank you!

Thank you for participating in Scouting for Food Bags Out!

October Pack Meeting

Posted on Oct 12 2016 - 1:34pm

It’s almost Halloween, and at this month’s pack meeting Scouts can wear costumes if they wish! But please nothing too gory and no guns. If a Scout chooses not to come in costume, he needs to wear his uniform instead. Also at this meeting we’ll be having a pumpkin-carving/decorating contest, so bring in those jack-o'-lanterns! Any illumination needs to be from a battery-operated candle, not a wax-burning one. Happy Halloween, see you on the 20th!
